Undertale Late 9th Anniversary Post: Undertale Sans AU Flavors
Since spooky month has started, let's start it with our favorite skeleton, sans!
A month ago, Toby Fox posted the Deltarune Autumn Newsletter. In this letter, not only did he start testing for chapter 3 of Deltarune and localization of chapter 4, but he introduced a 9th Anniversary Kitchen set with Fangamer, since this was also the 9th anniversary newsletter. He put out papyrus themed plates (for spaghetti of course, and a Sans cup with a transparent eye. Apparently, if you were to put blue lemonade in the cup, Sans would have his signature glowing eye from his boss fight.
Toby Fox then wrote “if you make anything other than blue lemonade, he's basically going to turn into an AU version of Sans… please be responsible.” And well, lets see what sans aus would certain drinks make!
For red drinks like pomegranate juice, or fruit punch, we will get Underfell Sans
For orange drinks like orange juice, apple juice, or Fanta, we can get Negativetale Sans and Hardtale sans. I had to search these up.
For yellow drinks like regular lemonade, we will get Dream sans, classic sans (yes, sans’ eye also turns into yellow), outertale sans, (sometimes) and ink sans
For green drinks like mountain dew, matcha, we will get, uhh… Green Sans? Oh wait, there is also Underterror.
For cyan drinks like blue lemonade, we get classic sans, underswap, swapswap, etc. You know what, it would be easier to name the sans aus without a cyan eye.
For blue drinks like blue tea, we get fanon sans, error sans (does only the pupil count?)
For purple drinks like the grimace shake (sorry, it was the only thing I could think of), we get… I don't have any ideas. I searched this up, and found that swapfell counted as well.
For pink drinks like strawberry lemonade, we get, idk, steven universe? There's also some sans fangirl ocs and some sans aus that I dont know of.
Overall, there could be more sans AUs that I do not know about. ITs crazy that there are many sans AUs to the point that the eye colors combined can make up the entire rainbow.
